Last updated: January 2024
The short version
FreeQRStudio is a free service provided as-is. You are responsible for what you encode in your QR codes. Always test before printing. We are not liable for scanning failures.
Section 1
Acceptance
By using FreeQRStudio, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use the service.
Section 2
Service Description
FreeQRStudio provides a free, browser-based tool for generating static QR codes. The service is provided as-is, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. No account or payment is required to use the service.
Section 3
User Responsibilities
You are solely responsible for the content you encode into QR codes. You agree not to use FreeQRStudio to create QR codes that link to illegal content, are used for phishing or deception, violate the rights of others, or distribute malware or harmful content.
Section 4
No Guarantee of Scan Reliability
We do not guarantee that every QR code generated will scan in all situations. Scan reliability depends on print quality, size, lighting conditions, the scanning device, and other factors. Always test your QR code before using it in print or business materials.
Section 5
Limitation of Liability
FreeQRStudio is provided "as is" without any warranties. To the maximum extent permitted by law, FreeQRStudio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business.
Section 6
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
